A Virtuous Woman

Although your life could have taken many roads

You chose the path of righteousness to uphold

Though surrounded by enticing things of this world

You've kept your temple from being soiled.

You know the call of your father's voice

Not conformed to this world, you made Him your choice

By faith you believed that He gave His life first

which brought you salvation while heaven rejoiced

To see you with power that now keeps you poised.

With integrity you're filled with His spirit of truth

Your garden of life now holds beauty and youth

Releasing a sweet fragrance that draws others to

Come seeking the kingdom you've pledged your life to.

When things in your life could be going wrong

With peace in your heart you still sing praise songs

That's how the world knows to whom you belong

Just like Him who made you, you're spiritually strong.

You're bold and confident; you know who you are

You speak with the eloquence of His wondrous great love

The words of compassion like your Father above

A virtuous woman whom the whole world speaks of

Your purity shows beauty the very essence of His love

Your faithfulness to His Kingdom clothes you in His honor

from above.
