I discovered through personal experience that there is a prayer that fits every need. There are many men and women in the Bible who prayed for and received a specific need, using prayer as their intimate communion with the Lord.
For example, we see in I Samuel 1 that Hannah was a praying woman who petitioned God to take away her barrenness. She desired to have a son. You might ask, what did she do? She made her petition/supplication to the Lord. Supplication means a humble, earnest entreaty and request. Hannah prayed the Prayer of Supplication to have a child. After the Priest Eli questioned her, he spoke the word of the Lord, which was, "Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him." Hannah believed what he said and rejoiced upon receiving that Word! The prayer of Supplication is a faith-filled, beseeching prayer that is prayed because you believe that God is going to do what His word says. It is a prayer of faith, and it changes things. A prayer of Faith is always based on the word of God.
When Praying Prayers of Faith, pray according to the following promises/assurances:
Mark 11:24: Therefore I say unto you, what things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
1 John 5: 14-15 This is the confidence/assurance that I have in him, that if I ask anything according to His will, he listens to and hears me. And if I know that He listens to me in whatever I ask, I know that I have the requests made to Him.
James 5:14-15 Is anyone among you sick? He should call in the church elders. And they should pray over him, anointing him with oil in the Lord's name. And the prayer of faith will save him who is sick the Lord will restore him: and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
One of the most memorable truths that I have hidden in my heart is this; as we pray with all manner of prayer, God is a God Who hears and answers prayer.
Just Believe!
