Confessions for a Blessed Marriage!
I submit my marriage to God and His divine plan for marriage.
My spouse and I always communicate with each other in love; showing respect, honor and dignity. Our marriage is built on unconditional love. We answer each other with a soft and respectful tone. We walk in humility, meekness, patience and love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. We let no corrupt communication proceed out of our mouths, but what edifies and ministers grace unto one another. We are kind to each other, tenderhearted and forgiving, even as God, for Christ's sake has forgiven us. My spouse and I dwell together in peace and harmony. There is no division among us and we are a team of one. The Lord is in the midst of our marriage causing it to be greater, better and stronger each day.
We are sexually compatible and satisfy each other's needs for physical and emotional intimacy. When we share love it is always honorable and pleasurable for us both. Our eyes are for each another only and we enjoy one another to the fullest, being one flesh. Romance is a daily part of our lives as we grow more and more intimate daily, by living each for the other.
Our marriage is strong, healthy, vibrant, passionate, intimate, and holy before the Lord.
***A Husband's Confession***
As a husband -- I support, encourage, build up, and cover my wife. I am strong, wise, understanding and a loving leader in our home. I love my wife just as Christ loves the church and gave himself for her. I sanctify and cleanse my wife with the washing of the water of the word and with my words. I contribute to her health and not her hurt. I present unto myself a glorious wife; without spot, wrinkle or blemish. I love my wife as I love myself; therefore I nourish and cherish her as a treasure and glorious jewel. My wife is priceless in my eyes. My wife is an excellent, strong, loving, loyal, intelligent and beautiful woman. I am a covering, protection and safe place for her. My wife helps me with the call on my life, by supporting, assisting and encouraging me. She shows me honor, respect and reverence and does me good all the days of my life.
***A Wife's Confession***
I am a virtuous and extraordinary woman: A woman of sound judgment and mind. I am kind, polite, peaceable, and a crown to my husband's head. I possess a quiet spirit and I am filled with God's grace to be a woman of great power and strength, and beauty, and an excellent wife. When my husband found me, he received great favor from the Lord. I am blessed in all of my deeds for the Lord is with me. I am a woman of great wisdom, understanding, and intelligence. I am led by God in all of my affairs and the Lord's anointing is on me to be prosperous.
My husband cares for me and treats me with honor and respect. He protects and covers me in his love and I always feel secure with him. He listens to, and understands me and is patient and kind. He is a leader who is supportive, encouraging and shows me how important I am to him. I do him well all the days of his life and his heart safely trusts in me. We are compatible and declare our love for one another continually by words and actions. Our union is harmonious and solid because it is founded upon the Word of God. Our marriage is blessed of God and His divine favor is upon our marriage, family and home. Our marriage exemplifies the relationship between Christ and His glorious Church.
