Image of a Conqueror....Touching Your Spirit

 You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are designed to dominate the circumstances that come your way. This does not mean that you will not encounter any resistance. You will, but resistance is designed to make you stronger and to improve your endurance.

The first thing that God gave to man was not dominion, it was image (Genesis I:26- 27). Without the correct image, man/woman would not be able to dominate the earth as God intended. Image is everything. It affects how you see, what you see and what you are willing to do in response. Image affects your response- ability.

Unfortunately, many people will dwell on their problem and what they see with their eyes instead of what they desire to see happen. In order to conquer your circumstances you must, by faith, see yourself as already victorious; on top of your situation.

When David went to fight with Goliath, Goliath tried to paint a picture in David's imagination. He threatened, "Come to me and I will give thy flesh unto the fowls of the air and the beast of the field. (I Samuel 17:44)" David had to look past the imposing physical stature of this man/giant and his attempts to intimidate him.

He focused instead on the image of what God had put on the inside of him and boldly proclaimed, "This day will the Lord deliver thee into my hand, and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and the beast of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. (I Samuel 17:46)"

David received an image of defeating not only Goliath, but the whole army! As you read on, scripture shows that David's image and his words came to pass.

Image is powerful! God did not only give you an image. He gave you His image! It is the ability to see the picture that God has painted of you and for you - seeing things as God sees them (By His Word and His Spirit.)

Never let what you see in the natural stop you from pursuing what God has allowed you to see in the Spirit. Keep God's image and let God's image keep you.

As He is so are we, in this world. More than conquerors!

- Today I receive the image of victory that God has for me
- Today I am more than a conqueror. Victorious in every situation
- Today I seek out the image that God has of me and I choose to see only that image
